I've always loved Baguio despite not having been there more than twice in my life.
I love the busy marketplace where you can buy a lot of goods such as bagnet and local delicacies like strawberry jam. The atmosphere along session road in the morning is an experience while riding taxi is cheap, I prefer walking since Baguio can offer street photography with a lot of interesting subjects.
Apparently, I don't see to it a joy anymore. A person named Calypso Alaia is reporting that Baguio is now implementing an ordinance that would require photographers to pay a fee in order to shoot, well, the city ordinance properly covers Burnham park just yet.
Baguio residents...dumating na ang pinakakinatatakutan natin na mangyari sa Burnham Park... here is a receipt na proof na kailangan ng magbayad ng 500 pesos bago ka pwede mag exercise sa Burnham Park.Once facebook user made some comment about the 'club' having to pay for Php 500 for 5 days. It's still free for an individual to use it. But still why?
Sorry, Mayor Domogan...this is really disturbing. Kala ko ba prinomise mo that the park will always be free para sa residents ng Baguio? what is happening? Something must be done para matigil ito....really disturbing...you have to pay to use the park? bawal na din daw kumuha ng photo balita ko?
Here is a picture of the permit issued to the Early Risers Club wherein they paid 500 Pesos to exercise in Burnham Park

This is outrageous for a city that's known to be visited by thousands of foreigners!
The intention plainfully speaks of abuse.
